1. Introduction

Welcome to ExtractGrid ("Company", "we", "our", or "us")! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our web application available at www.extractgrid.com ("Service"). By using our Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these agreements, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ExtractGrid is a web-based platform that allows users to:

• Upload PDF documents,
• Define and save text extraction templates using bounding boxes,
• Assign spreadsheet references to extracted data,
• Apply templates in bulk to multiple PDFs,
• Export extracted text to CSV or Excel files.

The tool is designed to automate repetitive data extraction tasks from structured PDF files (e.g., invoices, bank statements, forms).

3. User Accounts

To access key features of ExtractGrid, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration,
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials,
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.

Accounts may be terminated for misuse or breach of these Terms.

4. User-Uploaded Content

You may upload PDF files and define custom bounding boxes and templates. You retain all rights to your uploaded files.

By using our service, you warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to use and upload such files,
• The content does not infringe on intellectual property rights of others.

Extraction templates are stored securely and are not shared with third parties, including temporary upload of PDFs. Uploaded PDFs are deleted automatically after brief processing duration for privacy and storage optimization.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service:

• For illegal or unauthorized purposes,
• To upload malicious code or content that disrupts service functionality,
• To copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer the service.

6. Subscription & Payment

Some features of ExtractGrid may be offered under a subscription plan. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to:

• Provide valid billing information,
• Allow recurring billing where applicable.

We reserve the right to change subscription fees or plans with prior notice on our pricing page.

7. Refunds

Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase. Please contact support@extractgrid.com for refund requests. Deduction on refunds are applicable based on incurred charges and service usage.

8. Intellectual Property

The software, branding, design, and codebase of ExtractGrid are owned by ExtractGrid or its licensors. You may not copy, reuse, or modify any part of the service without prior written permission.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

10. Limitation of Liability

ExtractGrid is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or accuracy of extracted data.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any:

• Loss of data,
• Business interruption,
• Indirect or consequential damages.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of your jurisdiction. Any disputes shall be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction in that location.
